Terrible!!! Boring and vapid video. Pointless!
What a waste of time and money. Life is too short and education is too important for this subject matter. How is this video going to do anything to help with anything... by showing a bunch of lame rock stars faces? Singing in the most contrived manner?
It won't even help any of these musicians careers... how is it going to help slow down climate change? Embarrassing to say the least!

I'm not gonna lie.... I wasn't a huge fan of the song. It is not quite as catchy as "What's Goin On?" or as fun as "We Didn't Start The Fire". Intentions are awesome, but product is so-so.

There is a song especially written by an Australian about climate change.Put on YouTube in Nov.2008.
Go to You tube...type in....where we going to go David Todd.
It is a song and slideshow. However, I must confess I am biased
as David is my son.

I personaly believe any effort to raise awareness of global warming and to try to curb the head in the sand mentality should be applauded.
I am however somewhat disappointed the federal minister for the environment Mr Peter Garret, the former frontman of Midnight Oil and the guy that sang the song in the first place about indiginous affairs in Australia, couldn't find the time to get involved in this project cause he's too busy doing what he always accused others of doing, and that is towing the party line and trying to be a faceless polititian.. Where's your power and passion gone Peter. I used to admire you but now am finding it difficult. I know your trying to make a difference in a practical way, but we need to see you doing what your so well known for and so good at.. being a voice for the people that actualy can be heard.

This is such an important issue - but what a disappointment! I love this song and it is an anthem for the mistreatment of indigenous Australians (an issue that is still very current). Why 'pinch' that anthem? Are we so hard up for talent and creativity that the best we could do for a global issue that potentially (worst case scenario) means human extinction is a cut and paste job? And on that, if that is the best Oils can bring to bear then they really have lost it. How tepid! 'How can we sleep while our Earth is turning?' Last I checked global rotation is not the issue - does this lyric even make sense!?! I am no songwriter but surely even somthing as obvious as 'People obsessed with how much they're earning, how can we sleep while our future's burning? The time has come, we have to act, If we fail now there's no turning back." would be more on topic and more compelling? As I say ... It is a bit disappointing.

The December Copenhagen conference climate negotiations will include population control, with the focus being directed primarily at women. As if men have nothing to do with it.

Amazing! I hope with all my heart that this video makes a difference. None of us can just sit back and wait for someone else to take care of things, it has gone way too far. Blessings to all the artists that gave of their time.
