You should check out a manufacturer called the watergeeks at www.thewatergeeks.com. I got rid of my SIGG and bought stainless steel bottles for my wife and our kids. They have awesome colors and they have filtered stainless steel bottles that make tap water taste amazing. We are finally bottled water free!!

I don’t trust those SIGG bottles. When I first saw them, my mother and I thought that they had the cutest designs, and as a bonus, were not Made in China. So we bought four, one for each member of the family for Christmas. Then my mother went crazy, threw out all of our plastic reusable water bottles, and replaced them with Siggs. At first, it worked out. I only used them when I went hiking, when I was too thirsty to care.
But after using them for lunch, I realized they gave the water this disgusting metallic taste, and you couldn’t clean them!!!! Bottles are already extremely hard to clean, especially narrow-necked ones to dark to see the inside of.

I returned all 3 of my SIGG bottles to a Whole Foods in the LA area with success! They were very pleasant about the return and sympathetic. I got store credit in exchange and promptly bought 3 more tried and true Klean Kanteens at my local green store..."Green and Greener".

We first saw the Sigg bottles at a health food store a little while ago. I liked the designs and was thinking of getting one, but mom checked the weight and said it was aluminum, even though they said they were stainless steel. Later on they admitted that they were aluminum, and it seems like they were also hiding the fact that they had bpa's in them. I do not trust such lying and shady companies, and never going to buy from them. I bought a kleen kanteen a while ago, and still love it. You can tell by the weight and the inside that they're good.

I am going to recycle the old and buy another brand. I can't stand the idea of giving any money to a company that is trying to hide that its bottles have exactly what it said it didn't. They should have issued an immediate recall, apology, and made a donation.

You were suppose to be able to choose your new bottles per the website, but a bunch of bottles showed up at my door w/out my input. Some were duplicates. I called, but customer service was extremely rude. I am currently waiting to hear from someone else. Overall, I'm not please with how they are handling it so far.

None of the above. :P I tossed it in with my weekly recycling and bought myself an OtterBottle instead. I couldn't bring myself to keep using it, and I wasn't about to pay to return it or try to take it back to a local retailer knowing full well I didn't buy it there.
