Twitter Thursday: Sexy Green Cleaning Products From Green Terpene!

Cleaning products are a decidedly unsexy product to giveaway (though the people behind Method might argue otherwise), but nevertheless, keeping it green also means dumping (read: properly disposing of) the toxic crap most of us probably have under the sink and replacing it with something more earth/health-friendly.
For this week’s Twitter Thursday, we’ve hooked up with Green Terpene — makers of all-natural, all-purpose cleaner extracted solely from domestic Florida oranges. Terpenes are a super-concentrated multi-purpose cleaner and degreaser that is 100% natural, biodegradable, safe, and non-toxic. Also, since we’re talking about fruit here, your home will be left smelling delicious — and not something out of a chemical vat.

1.) Join Twitter (if you haven’t already).
2.) Follow @ecorazzi on Twitter.
3.) At 3pm EST, we’ll send out a contest message. All you have to do is re-tweet that contest message and add it to your updates. So if we say:

You should give it to me because my wife is pregnant and we need a new supply of pregnant friendly cleaning products so I don’t always have to be the one who cleans the shower!
Wow. Your rules say that I need to explain why I could use all-natural skincare. I’m assuming this is a typo because of last week’s skincare offer, but just in case this is a trick, I’m not going to risk losing out!
I could use all-natural skincare because I refuse to use the toxic, animal tested-stuff and (as long as I’m working in a small animal rights nonprofit (which will hopefully be forever) don’t have the money to buy the non-toxic, natural, cruelty-free products.
As for why I could use all-natural cleaning products, I DO scrape together the loose change to buy these products and keep my house sanitary but they’re not cheap! If I could choose one of these, I think I would want tangerine!

Right now the only natural cleaning products I have used is a biodegradable dish detergent. I’d like to try more but I am just unsure of their “efficacy” and I hate buying products I haven’t tried.
I volunteered to be our “green” person at work, so I suppose I should get on the bandwagon with green cleaning products.
I could use these products because I try to use as few chemicals as possible. I currently use a combination of baking soda, lemon and vinegar to clean a lot of things.
My roommate needs convincing. She tends to giggle at my “green tendencies,” and has a habit of coming home from Kmart with an industrial-sized package of non-recycled toilet paper. She means well, she really does, but she doesn’t want to spend a lot of money. So a supply of eco-friendly stuff would make both her and I so happy. Happy enough to finally tackle our old bathroom and make it all sparkly again! Or at least usuable….
I would love to try these products because I have switched to all green cleaning products but would love the orange scent. I am assuming that they have an orange scent.

My cats make a mess of my house, so I need cleaning supplies that are safe to use around them.
I could use these products around my house because I have two boys which means a constant mess to clean up but I hate using chemicals around the kids.
These products would be great in my house because they are pet friendly. Of course anyone with pets, knows there is always cleaning to be done!

If the winner of the Green Terpene pack were to be someone who not only uses the product in their own home and constantly tells members of their community (& anyone else who’ll listen) to think and CLEAN Green, but, is also a persistant ecoprenuer; would that help in your selection process? I’m going to get the word out about the holistic & healthful benefits of green cleaning someday, soon, in an effort to give back to MY home, from MY hometown.
I have been preparing to launch a green cleaning company, where none previously existed for over a year. In that time I have seen two relatively convincing greenwashed cleaning services (one of which is a Natl’ Co) invade before I can get established. It would REALLY help me get get started if I had a winner of a supplier as my eventual partner. It has been my sincerest dream to one day train & employ others, at a living wage, globally (from Indiana to China) under Carter’s Green Clean. I am winning & I need your help.
