I think the white and black families should have one kid in each of their family. The asian family shouldn’t have any kids at all. they should stop making babies. The world is over populated with too many asian and not enough white and black, and hispanis people. Hope one day we will decrease the overpopulated earth with equal proportion of black,white,asian and hispanic.

I think she is wrong here. You should look up what God thinks about having children. He says to be fruitful and multiply the earth. That being said, there is also nothing wrong with adopting a child either.
And props to you anais, I couldn’t have put it better myself. Celebrities need to stop acting like they run the world. When in reality, they don’t have a clue what the “real” world is like.

another catty female, what a suprise. Always good to have it confirmed that males aren’t the only competitive idiots on the planet. Heidi Klum calls herself a green and then goes and has 4 children. Props to Lilly for her personality and looks and brains enough not to have many kids. Funny that she’ll make the sacrifice all the women out there with no brains or money won’t.

I recycle, I buy organic products and produce and I compose and grow my own veg but I don’t think we should all have to adopt because there is insufficent education out in third world countries about birth control, I don’t think there is anything wrong or selfish about people who want to bring their own children into the world, and I think adoption is just as wonderful a way too, but I don’t think people should be guilted into it because of rising population numbers. I’m not ashamed to say I want to give birth to my own children and would be devestated if I didn’t and I’m not alone. I think celebrities need to get off their moral high horses and leave us to make our own informed decisions.

The problem with Americans adopting children from impoverished nations is that we are giving these people a reason to continue to have more children than they can afford, because we pay them for the privilege of adoption! Adopting a Chinese baby, for example, has actually become a lucrative business for some women in China, at $15k-$20k a child.

As long as we pay these third world mommies the equivalent of 3-4 years salary to pop out cute babies for Americans to buy, they will continue to do so. Ms. Lilly and other celebrities, need to think before they speak.

What about the kids who are adopted? Will they be loved “less” because they don’t contain the same DNA as the kids who aren’t adopted? How will the adopted kids feel about that?
For those families that have adopted children: They are yours. You may not have squeezed em out of your loins, or grew them yourself but they are loved and they are FAMILY.

That chick sounds like an idiot. I know people who have adopted their own kids and it’s like their own. What’s this “I wanna have my own baby” stuff? She just contradicted what she said!
There’s more to parenting than just spreading your DNA around. Maybe she thinks it would be cool to have her own baby so she can have a carbon idiot mini version of herself.

Think about it……….in a few generations…………there be no one left to carry forward your insane views.
