It’s Twitter Thursday! This week we’ve partnered with eco-conscious jewelry designer (and eco-pioneer) Rebekah Green to giveaway three of her beautiful creations.

Rebekah’s line of sustainable, fully-customizable jewelry features six unique earring design types (each piece hand-cast, hand-set and hand-polished) made with 100% recycled 14K and 18K gold, fair trade gemstones and is accompanied with entirely biodegradable and “plantable” labeling. Five percent of all net profits from earring sales will benefit Global Green USA, Charity: Water and Heifer International. Every pair of earrings is fully customizable – from gemstone to gold selection – and are available exclusively online at rebekahgreen.com.

“I’m incredibly passionate about design in every conceivable form,” she writes on her site. “From art to fashion to architecture to how food is arranged on a plate. I think that design is what drives culture and the human spirit forward.”

The weather forecast calls for rain on my weekend! If I win the lovely Rebekah Green earrings I will be able to accessorize my rain jacket and wellington boots and still look glamorous! Also, no one will notice my awful hat-hair because they will be admiring my new earrings!

I can think of multiple people who would love these as gifts and deserve to have some nice jewelry but don’t buy any because of the problems with mineral extraction. Having a beautiful pair of eco earrings would solve that!

  • Pam

We have an anniversary party this weekend and would LOVE to add a gorgeous pair of these earrings to my black dress for a color pop. Very neat jewelry!

Our weather here has been cool and rainy. A lot of the autumn leaves fell before we could enjoy their colors. Those gorgeous garnet earrings would make up for the lack of color on the trees :-) And they would certainly brighten my weekend knowing I had those earrings to look forward to, and anticipatng all the compliments I would receive!

This is the year I’ve focused on becoming the better me. Living faithfully by the 3 R’s reduce, reuse, recycle. This would be a great gifted to myself.

  • Amanda

Winning the earrings would make my weekend because it’ll give me an excuse to go shopping for an outfit to match.

I would love a pair of Rebekah’s earrings, because I don’t have anything planned for this weekend. When I don’t have anything planned, it opens the door for shopping, which is dangerous in this economy. If I were to win the earrings, that would satisfy my shopping urge.

  • Piroska
