sTOMS shoes is making headlines this week as they team up with the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Program (CTAOP) to help make a difference.

The shoe company, which is famous for donating one pair of new shoes to a child in need for every pair purchased, has given CTAOP 10,000 pairs to be distributed in December 2009.

All of the shoes donated are made with eco and vegan materials and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to Charlize’s organization, which is dedicated to “creating a safer, healthier, and better life for the impoverished, under-resourced children and families of South Africa – particularly those suffering from HIV/AIDS.”

So will you be picking up a pair this holiday season? Chime in and tell us what you think about this groovy collaboration!
