The art of protesting whaling has turned into a technological tour de force; not to mention the means by which the Japanese hold off any potential interference with their operations.     These “weapons” seem inadequate. Why not employ some better equipment, like GPS trackers that can be thrown onto the hull of the ship and stick. Or a sonic disrupter that could be attached to the side of the ship with magnets, as to scare away whales. It would be further booby trapped so that when they removed it, it would spray some sort of nasty stuff on them

WHY ARE WE SO CONFUSED?
