So, they don’t ask her because they know she can’t officially endorse anything, so they use her image without permission, which amounts to her endorsing an issue.

This was just wrong. Regardless of the fact that Mrs. Obama is against fur, using her image is…well, just wrong. Why couldn’t they simply ask her? PETA is important, but should realize it’s self-righteous attitude sometimes, and assuming Michelle would approve of the sign doesn’t mean she agreed for her picture to be used in this tawdry fashion. The others are celebrities. She is the wife of our President, an elegant First Lady!
