Hey, what are you doing on January 23? If you live in NYC and think compassion is cool, you’ll probably be at Mercy For Animal’s Celebrating Compassion Gala at the Prince George Ball Room.
The fancy-pants event will include live music, a delicious vegan dinner, wine and spirits, a cruelty-free silent auction and a groovy awards ceremony.
You’ll also have the chance to mingle with a few of your favorite celebs, including Queer As Folk’s Hal Sparks, comedian Dan Piraro, legendary artist Peter Max, CNN’s Jane Velez-Mitchell, and famed musician Nellie McKay.
What more could you want?
Tickets to the event are going fast, so make sure to visit CelebratingCompassion.com and find out more about how you can get in the door. We know you’ll have a blast!
On a personal note, January 23 is my ninth year anniversary of being VEG — Mother Nature’s favorite diet — and I’ll be celebrating my 3,285 days of plant-based living at the event! Hope to see you there!
