brad pitt, angelina jolie, haitiQuick to lend a generous hand, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $1 million from their charitable foundation to assist in relief efforts for the people of Haiti. The money will reportedly go to the org Doctors Without Borders to provide for emergency surgeries. The organization is sending a surgical team and an inflatable tent hospital that can hold 100 patients and two operating rooms.

“The first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care,” Pitt said in a statement.

The cash comes on the heels of another announcement that George Clooney will host next Friday, January 22nd, a star-studded fundraising telethon to be broadcast on MTV. Details are light, but participation from many in the Hollywood community is expected.

[UPDATE: Looks like Gisele has chipped in $1.5 million as well!]

They are a very generous couple, always have been. Thank God for their kindness. I just wish they would not seek out the media to promote their good deeds. George Clooney is their friend and falling in tha same bracket. This horrific event which happened in Haiti should no tbe for promotion reasons, but for the good at heart. I am also reading the model who married Tom Brady donated 1.5 million in her assets wihtout the media aware. So why draw attention to this? It makes no sense to me but God Bless them for their generousity in this dark hour of that part of the world.

This doesnt surprize me at all about these two…this is why they are such special people…

Yes – Brangelina gave a COMBINED one million dollars that was money DONATED by others to their charity. Sandra Bullock gave one million dollars from her own pocket……now THAT’S charity. If someone gave me a million dollars to donate to charity like they did to Brangelina, I could hold a press conference and brag about “donating” too. What a couple of fame whores. Way to go SANDRA!

At http://www.worldreports.org it is being reported that the”earthquake” was another false flag “event” caused by a HAARP device. We Americans are being had by our own governemnt. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that these events keep happening to only the poorest countries on earth. If this had been a true quake surely there would have been a tsunami. The roads and airport are fine (how convenient). Of course other countries sent doctors, food and water (which our military is delaying) and we send soldiers and weapons. Even the French ambassador has protested that we are conductong another occupation instead of a rescue effort. The money donated into The White House Fund will be stolen as the Katrina money was stolen. Where is the Katrina audit? Even Keith Olbermann warned people not to give the White House Fund because Haiti will never see it.

Well yeah, but you see how the government has been even worse off then before since Obama came into power atleast when Bush was in the White house he tried not to pass as many stupid laws and bailouts.Every once in a while we can afford to give some money to an underpriviledged country such as Haiti.

Brad and Angelina are role modeling what to do with their time and money. I love that they have adopted children. And they are always so ready to lend their names and money to so many worthy causes. I also love that Angelina supported John Trudell. Thank you for all your good works.
