Emma Watson’s new eco-friendly “Love From Emma” collection is almost ready for sale in the UK — and in a new catalog celebrating the launch, she reveals a bit of how she worked on the new line while balancing her professional life.
“I often worked late at night, fitting in meetings between filming Harry Potter 7,” she writes. “In between takes, I sketched and painted. Inspiration came from all sorts of places. Whether I was brainstorming with Tafari, my friend and appointed Menswear Advisor or rummaging through Sophie my flatmate’s wadrobe, I couldn’t have done it without them enthusiasm of the peers around me for my project.”
“Teenagers, who love fashion, but want to wear clothes that help the world’s poorest people, not that make them poorer.”
“It shocks me that, even today, only one percent (1%) of the cotton produced in the world is fair trade and organic,” she added.
