Discovery’s Planet Earth captured the hearts of over 65 million people with its incredible cinematic look at the diversity of our planet. Now Discovery celebrates Earth’s more than 30 million species of animals and plants with a new 11-part series called LIFE.

From a horned lizard lying flat on his back with hopes that a hog-nosed snake will think he’s dead to a brown-tufted capuchin using a rock to crack open tree nuts, each episode of LIFE tells wondrous tales of survival with uncontrived drama, humor, and suspense.

If you are like us and can’t wait for the March 21st debut of LIFE on the Discovery Channel, here’s a sneak peak at some of the stunning images that were captured during the making of the series.
