It has been revealed that Selena Gomez’s new eco-friendly collection of clothing will hit K-Mart this coming July 15th. Even more stunning, everything in the line will be priced at under $25.

“I want the pieces that can be easy to dress up or down, and the fabrics being eco-friendly and organic are super important,” Gomez said last fall. “Also, the tags will all have some of my inspirational quotes on them. I’m just looking to send a good message.”

Wow, that’s so great! She is definitely a prominent figure in Hollywood right now, and we need more celebrities to step up and really get the eco-friendly movement out there!

This is fantastic, I agree with the previous comment that more women in Hollywood must take a leading role with green initiatives in the fashion and beauty world. It’s even better that these fashions are going to be so accessible at K-mart.

I am so excited for this I am a huge fan of Selena Gomez and I love her fashions!

This is crazy! Just because it’s eco-friendly does not make it okay. Did everyone forget about the sweatshop laborers who are making these clothes on the other side of the planet? There’s nothing ethical about Kmart – no matter how ‘green’ its marketing department makes it seem.

What? Did that just say everything was going to be sold for $25 or less?!? I went to Kmart the other day and they were on ‘sale’ for $35. Oh well, apart from that this is a great line of clothing and a great message to be sending her fans.
@Lydia Krupinski-I feel the same way about that situation but she’s not the only one, and I think it’s excellent that the clothes are eco-friendly.
