Katie Couric took a little time out today to join the Sesame Street Muppets in a tree planting ceremony at Madison Square Park in New York City.

The CBS Evening News anchor was on-hand to discuss the new Sesame Street television special she’s hosting called “When Families Grieve”. The one-hour special discusses the loss of a parent and the tragic toll it takes on families. The episode will air on Wednesday, April 14, at 7 p.m.
