Aussie Beauty Scores PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celeb Nod

With it’s raw behind-the-scenes footage, the powerful documentary Earthlings – also dubbed the “vegan maker” — continues to affect those who walk in celebrity circles as diverse as Canadian NHL ice hockey player Georges Laraque and musician Anthony Kiedis, who has been consuming a plant-based diet for close to three decades.

In fact, it was at Kiedis’ home where Australian actress/animal activist Isabel Lucas first saw the film. Lucas, who is best known for her role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and the vampire-horror flick Daybreakers, swore off of animal products shortly after seeing the film and today says she feels far more healthy and in balance than ever before.

Most recently, Lucas — who enjoys her new menu of “soups, pasta, tofu, nuts and lots of veggies” — was named Australia’s 2010 Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity by PETA.

Isabel previously made headlines for her participation in a 2007 protest against whaling in Taiji, Japan along with Hayden Panettiere (which appears in the documentary The Cove), and is currently involved with Save the Whales Again and the Global Green Plan among many other charitable endeavors.

Isabel is really sexy and goes against the stereotype that a lot of people have of vegans being waifs.

What do you consider a waif Kyle?

She is reported to be 5’4″ and 103 pounds. The lowest range I can find for a 5’4″ female is 114 pounds. That puts her 10% below the low end of the healthy range.

She is very pretty but could really stand to gain some weight.

Sure, this girl is not without her aesthetic charms. But if I’m not mistaken, she is also not without an outstanding Japanese arrest warrant.

  I gotta tell you, it gets really tiring when you keep sending your beauty-pageant bimbos over here to shed their pathetic crocodile tears over the cuddly dolphins and whales. Especially when they come from Australia or the United States – the two greatest per capita polluters in the world. The hypocrisy kind of gets to you after a while… know what I mean?

Why is it that whenever a pretty woman appears on Ecorazzi becuase she has done or is doing something good for the environment or the animals she is called a bimbo? Is that all you have? Congrats to her, but in “The Morning Show” yesterday one of the reporters was taking a bag at her, saying she would barley be able to lift her arms to receive the prize. Pretty lame.
