Last Chance For Animals (LCA) and celebrity photographer Christopher Ameruoso teamed up to create new print public service announcements featuring Pamela Anderson, Holly Madison, Jillian Michaels, Verne Troyer, and Maria Menounos.

The PSAs, designed to draw attention to the abuse animals endure worldwide, address animal welfare issues including the Bureau of Land Management’s roundup of wild horses, dog fighting, pet adoption, fur, and pet theft.

LCA, founded in 1984 by actor Chris DeRose, is a non-profit organization dedicated to exposing animal cruelty and abuse. The organization “recognizes that animals have the ability to experience pain, and as such they deserve certain basic rights protecting them from pain caused by humans” and opposes the use of animals for food, clothing, entertainment, and scientific curiosity.

Why Vegetarianism Makes No Sense From A Moral Perspective

I don’t consider my years as a vegetarian as a stepping-stone or prerequisite to veganism

I hope I win the ‘Pig Farmers of Tomorrow’ contest I entered (I’m vegan)

I think I’ll likely have the most interest in pigs of anyone applying, anyway.

Hopefully Jon & Tracey Stewart use their new farm for vegan education

They’ve promised classes on caring for animals and sustainable agriculture, so vegan 101 would be a great place to start.
