She survived longer than I thought she would — and was really hitting her stride — but voters last night decided to give Pamela Anderson her last dance on Dancing with the Stars.

After the results were announced, Pamela received a standing ovation; with the judges calling the decision “heartbreaking”.

“To think one of these two couples has danced for the last time, it’s nonsensical,” said judge Len Goodman. “You should both be here next week, so it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see.”

“This has been one of the best experiences of my life. That says a lot. I’ve had a lot of good experiences,” Pam said.

Anderson’s appearance on the show drew huge support from animal rights activists, including the organization she most fervently supports, PETA. “It was such a great experience,” Anderson told PEOPLE of her run on the show. “It was really fun. Everyone is very supportive of each other and it’s real, genuine. I wish everyone the best.”
