Mike Dirnt of Green Day has once again teamed up with Macbeth, a California footwear company, in his second collaborative Studio Project—a black and white synthetic patent leather Schubert high-top. The design, like its predecessor, is 100% vegan and features a custom water-based synthetic adhesive.

“I always love working with Macbeth. We have worked flawlessly since day one and I am excited to continue our collaborative efforts,” said Dirnt. “Our first studio collaboration got great feedback and I am confident that everyone will appreciate my second design. I am extremely excited to get it out in stores and see the response.”

Earlier this year, the Green Day bassist donated the royalties from his first Studio Project collaboration, totaling $10,000, to the Soles4Souls Foundation.

The Mike Dirnt Macbeth Studio Project will be available July 2010.
