During the month of June, Animal Planet will rebroadcast Discovery’s Channel’s 11-part series “LIFE” which garnered more than 30 million viewers this past March.

“Animal Planet is thrilled to join Discovery Channel and the BBC in bringing the pageantry that is LIFE back for viewers to enjoy all over again,” says Marjorie Kaplan, president and general manager of Animal Planet. “We are honored to bring the best natural history programming the world has ever seen to our Animal Planet viewers.”

“LIFE” will kick off on Animal Planet on Sunday, June 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and run each Sunday throughout the month. Viewers will be treated with a marathon of all 11 episodes on July 4.

More than four years in the making, LIFE provided never-before-seen high-definition footage that explored the fascinating behaviors of animals and plants on our planet.
