The last thing a huge star needs is more stuff, right? Right!

After receiving an abundance of gifts on his last tour, singer Adam Lambert went on Twitter to encourage fans to channel their generosity into helping others.

“Instead of giving me gifts, why not donate 2 donorschoose.org or other charity in my name? U can print a receipt 4 me and personalize it:) What are your thoughts?”

Lambert has been a huge supporter of Donors Choose and last year even reached out to fans in a video thanking them for their support in helping raise more than $229,000 to support music and arts-based public classroom projects.

In the video, Adam said, “I am unbelievably moved by the generosity and resolve of my fans, who have donated beyond what I could have ever expected to help students around the country.”

Will Lambert’s fans respect his new donation request? We’re betting they’re going to pull through in a big way!
