For the first time ever, a documentary film took the top honors at the 11th Annual Golden Trailer Awards — which, as you can guess, honor those short teasers that get us all to see movies.
The Cove was the big winner, earning the “Best in Show” award. The film, which goes undercover to show the dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan, recently won an Academy Award for Best Documentary.
Among the other winners were “”Sherlock Holmes” for Best Action, “District 9” for Best Thriller, “Knight and Day” for Summer 2010 Blockbuster and “Brothers” for Best Drama.
