Put on your most comfortable walking shoes and get that carpool organized — it’s conference season!

This summer there are a handful of great eco and animal conferences happening all over the country, including one of our favorites, the HSUS’s Taking Action for Animal Conference.

Ecorazzi attended last year’s event and gave you an inside look at all the festivities — including a exclusive interview with vegan actress Ginnifer Goodwin.

This year, the HSUS is welcoming two more well-known celebrities: famed photographer and America’s Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker and actor Hal Sparks. Both Barker and Sparks are outspoken animal supporters and have each done their part over the years to help the HSUS raise awareness.

The conference takes place on July 23-26 at the Washington, D.C. Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and will feature tons of workshops, a student summit and a special banquet dinner. To find out more and get your tickets, visit HSUS.org.
