Casey Affleck, known for his roles in Gone Baby Gone, Good Will Hunting, and Ocean’s Eleven, is in the process of opening a restaurant in Los Angeles, according to USA Today. The 34–year-old has been a vegan for 15 years so it’s safe to assume that his restaurant will feature plant-based meals.
Both Affleck and his wife, Summer Phoenix—who is also a vegan— are avid supporters of environmental and animal rights causes and organizations. In addition to an anti-meat industry PSA he filmed for PETA, the actor narrated a children’s video for Farm Sanctuary which highlights the realities of factory farming.
No word yet as to an opening day for the Affleck’s restaurant.
