“We try not to waste paper. We print on two sides. I used to print a lot. Now I try to read my scripts on the iPad instead of printing them. I used to walk around with a script binder. Now I walk around with the iPad.”

– Doug Ellin, Executive Producer of Entourage on just one way he keeps the film set green.

And how green is the electricity used to power the ipad?

Really, must we so blindly advertise?
And what about paper made from paper? What about all the plastic, lead and other heavy metals used to make the iPad’s parts?

And what if he sits on it in a taxi and breaks the screen, that wouldn’t affect a paper script. Paper will biodegrade in the landfill, but the Ipad?

It’s great to be eco-minded but you shouldn’t get credit if it’s just as destructive in other, less-known ways, right?
