Eighties sitcom actor and self-proclaimed anti-violent environmentalist Francis T. Perry Williams has announced the completion of a screenplay based on the novel he released last year.

Pollen and the Ring of Harmony” tells the tale of Pollen a super hero from outerspace who travels to Earth with a “living ring” to advise the world that unless humans learn to live in harmony with nature, the planet will be destroyed. As with any tale of powerful rings, Pollen must keep the golden jewel from falling into the wrong hands—aka a Vice President who wants to dominate the world.

Williams believes that Pollen, dubbed as the “first eco-superhero for the 21st century” would be a welcome champion here on Earth today considering the current disaster in the Gulf.

“The message of Pollen has been designed to raise awareness that we need to be proactive in addressing critical environmental issues,” said Williams. “Earth is a very special place and must be protected by caring inhabitants or we risk losing the only place we call home. Living in harmony with nature leads to happier and more fulfilling lives; who wouldn’t want that?”

Williams, who currently works as a private fitness trainer to the stars, plans to shop the screenplay to Hollywood producers.
