There’s no denying that naturalist David Attenborough is one of the great documentary film narrators of our time. Even Oprah could not stand up to his legend when it came to pitting the BBC version of Discovery’s LIFE vs. her narration for the American.

But what if he was your grandfather? Would that be the ultimate cool? (Disclaimer: I firmly believe my grandfather was the ultimate cool. He once came in from the garden when I was 10 with most of his arm covered in blood. He said it was nothing but a scratch. I ran away screaming.)

British comedian Doc Brown created a song for the BBC’s new comedy section called “Grandpa Dave” that explores his dream of having Sir A in the family. Check it out after the jump.
