The current article you are reading does not reflect the views of the current editors and contributors of the new Ecorazzi

Since you religiously read Ecorazzi, then you’re on the pulse of pop culture, no? It’s hardly a surprise, then, that Betty White is hot-hot-hot! Yes, THAT Betty White. Remember her from The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Golden Girls? Oh, you weren’t even born then?!? Well, surely you’ve caught her during her more recent television stints on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful, the Boston Legal or Saturday Night Live (which incidentally scored the often hit-n-miss show their “highest overall ratings in 18 months”).

The incredibly dynamic and vibrant 88 year old – who is donating 100% of the profits from her upcoming 2011 pin up calendar to The Morris Animal Foundation — has so many irons in the fire right now, including the ‘Bucks For Balls’ campaign, but who can blame her? The future Academy Awards ceremony presenter might be riding her own wave of popularity, but so is everyone else who recognizes an opportunity for a little extra ka-ching.

HoodieBuddie is now featuring a section on their website exclusively dedicated to Betty White-themed hooded zip-up sweatshirts priced at $48.00 a pop with the promise of “more rad stuff” to come. Currently featuring four uniquely themed Betty designs including a Miami Vice-esque backdrop, a pseudo-Sex Pistols style and my personal favorite, a totally Warholian Betty, there’s certainly a Betty-hoodie for every walk of life. Makes you wonder when is someone going to pave the way for an eco-friendly line of Betty snacks, sustainable household textiles and truly planet friendly dish detergent (that actually works) ? We’re waiting
