Spurs Manager Offers Home To Tortured Parasailing Donkey

Anapka, the donkey who was savagely attached to a parasail and sent out over the Sea of Azov in Southern Russia, may be getting a new home with football (soccer for those in the U.S.) boss Harry Redknapp. The Spurs manager was so outraged by the video footage, he has offered a home to Anapka at a farm sanctuary he plans to open in southern England.

“I am sickened by the actions of the scumbag who treated Anapka so badly,” said Redknapp. “If I had my way, I’d throw the idiot in prison. He should be prosecuted for what he’s done.”

Last week a team from The Sun rescued the shaken and bruised 17-year-old donkey and is currently caring for her in the Russian city of Krasnodar. The UK paper is working with the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to see if it will be possible to bring Anapka to England.

    How can be people be so cruel? I hope it all works out and Anapka can go to England to live in peace.

    Nothing good could have come from such stupid actions. Forcing this poor creature to do something that only comes natural to birds that fan fly is more than cruel, and at least when humans do it it is because they decided to do so. Looking at that picture is breaking my heart because judging by the angle in which Anapka came down she must have tumbled a few times in the sand.

    I too hope she gets to spend the rest of her life in a sanctuary, and cheers for Mr. Redknapp for his big heart!
