Haven’t you heard? Vanilla Ice (aka Robert Van Winkle) is the new Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor.

The famous rapper is trading in his beats for a tool belt and a nail gun to star in a home improvement series on the DIY Network entitled, The Vanilla Ice Project.

Reps for the network said:

“Over the last 15 years, Rob has taught himself the basics of home improvement through hands-on experience. In each episode, Rob demonstrates his vast knowledge in home renovation … . He calls the shots in this room-by-room home makeover series, exposing an entirely new side of the star — one that his fans never have seen before.”

Making your own stuff is certainly greener than buying it, but, still, we’re not so sure how we feel about this one. What do you think? Will you be watching Vanilla do his thing?

The shame Carly Lewis claims veganism casts over her is more likely the ghosts of moral uncertainty, spectres that are more likely fish than cows, wondering how morality can possibly be used as ammunition in favour of murder.
