For several years now, OneXOne — an international charity that continues to implement health care, water, food, education and entertainment initiatives that enhance the well-being of our world’s less fortunate children — has teamed up with Academy Award winner Matt Damon to spread awareness about their mission to those who have funds to spare. The movie and 30 Rock guest star will once again lend his hosting talents to their 3rd Annual OneXOne Fundraiser, happening on Wednesday, October 27th at NYC’s glitzy, architecturally-awesome Capitale.

Focused on offering a top-rate evening of entertainment (including performances by Collective Soul, 9 year old pianist-composer Ethan Bortnick and an award winning children’s choir), OneXOne will also share details about their work with Partners in Health to create a new Haiti hospital pediatric wing as well as offer a keynote speaking presentation by Paul Farmer (a co-founder of Partners in Health). They will also present actress Patricia Arquette with an award for her charitable efforts with the Give Love Foundation and round out the party with a live/silent auction, cocktail hour and lavish three course dinner.

If you’re in the New York area and interested in supporting OneXOne’s efforts, you can get tickets to attend their upcoming event by e-mailing their representative or by calling (310) 828-6340. Diseases are spreading, and winter is closing in on the 20 million flood victims – seven million of whom still do not have shelter.
