Earlier this week, Ecorazzi presented Part One of our review of PETA’s 30th Anniversary Gala And Humanitarian Awards. We introduced you to a few of our favorite stars, shared some exclusive news, and gave you a red carpet rundown. Part Two kicks off inside the Hollywood Palladium.

As stars like Fred Willard, Kellan Lutz and Sophie Monk headed inside the Hollywood Palladium, host Alec Baldwin made his way to the stage to begin the ceremony.

Besides simply celebrating 30 years of their own hard work, PETA spent most of the evening highlighting the many others who consistently go above and beyond for animals. Eli Roth, Olivia Munn, Christian Serratos, Lea Michele and more were given humanitarian awards for their advocacy. Charo was honored for speaking out against bullfighting; Christina Cho was given the Nancy Alexander Activist Award; and Anjelica Huston was recognized for her work on PETA’s Great Ape campaign.

Wearing a beautiful Stella McCartney dress, Huston told Ecorazzi, “I’m very proud because the Great Ape campaign has had a lot of impact, and we’ve stopped a lot of advertisers and movie makers from using Great Apes. This is a very important issue for me and I’m happy to have made a difference.”

As the evening progressed, many celebrities declared their support for PETA and their dedication to a cleaner, kinder, and more compassionate planet.

While presenting a tribute to PETA’s investigators, Casey Affleck revealed that not only is he and his wife vegan, but that their children are vegan, as well. As previously reported in Part One, Eva Mendes also announced that she has been vegetarian for over four years.

Throughout the night, attendees flocked to the silent auction tables, which featured special celebrity experiences like lunch with Project Runway’s Tim Gunn, two VIP tickets to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and a personal training session for two with The Biggest Loser‘s Bob Harper. The big ticket item of the night, however, was a new all-electric Nissan Leaf. Amazing!

As the evening came to a close, DJ Bill Coleman and the all-female dance crew The Beat Freaks kicked off the after-party where party-goers dined on delicious vegan desserts and danced the night away.

From all of us here at Ecorazzi, a big congrats to PETA on their very special day. Here’s to another 30 great years.
