Bullfighting is the frigin worst, and we’re happy to see celebrities standing up against it.

Actor and former Miss Panama Patricia De León is the latest celebrity to join PETA in their condemnation of bullfighting. In a new PSA for the group, De León speaks out against the cruel “sport”, saying:

“Celebrating our culture is very important to me. But one thing I cannot support is the senseless killing of animals in bullfights. From the moment the bull enters the ring, he’s destined to die. Outnumbered, frightened, even drugged or injured, his death will be slow and painful.”

According to PETA, each year thousands of bulls are tortured and killed in bullfights for the sake of, well…tradition?

Here at Ecorazzi we know that cruelty is never green and we’d never support such a senseless act of violence.
