Right at this very moment, people from all across the world are coming together to participate in the 10/10/10 Global Work Party.

As Ecorazzi previously reported, the 10/10/10 Global Work Party is a day created by 350.org that encourages citizens to take action on behalf of the ever-growing climate crisis.

According to the 350.org: The goal of the day is not to solve the climate crisis one project at a time, but to send a pointed political message: if we can get to work, you can get to work too–on the legislation and the treaties that will make all our work easier in the long run.”

With over 7,000 events scheduled in 188 countries, projects include initiatives like a giant bike fix-up day, installing solar stoves for a massive carbon neutral picnic, and the planting of thousands of trees.

Have you spent the day taking action for Mother Earth? Leave a comment and let us know what you’re doing to participate in the 10/10/10 Global Work Party.

If you’re still looking for ways to get involved, stop by 350.org and find out what’s going on in your community!
