Paris Hilton may not always end up on our site for good deeds, but today she most certainly is!

Late last week, the socialite donated various Halloween decorations and treats to the children’s charity The Rescue Mission Shelter.

How did we find out? Twitter, duh!

“Just got home,” Hilton tweeted. “Had a great day today. Cy and I went to the pumpkin patch to buy a bunch of pumpkins. Also some tools to carve and paint them and lots of candy and toys.

“Brought everything down to the children at The Rescue Mission Shelter. They were all so excited and grateful. It’s such an amazing feeling to make a child smile and be happy.”

Publicity stunt or not, we bet she made some adorable kids very happy!

Have you found a creative way to give back this Halloween season? Chime in and share your good deeds!
