So that “project” Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Cameron were hinting at was actually not as grandiose as my imagination wanted it to be. Instead, it turned out to be a political ad for the “No on Prop 23″ campaign.
Cameron has been one of the heavy supporters of the campaign against “23″, which would suspend California’s global warming legislation until unemployment drops below 5.5% for an unrealistic four consecutive quarters. He recently donated $1 million to the cause and in the clip, calls the legislation “the ultimate real life disaster” for the state’s green economy. At the end, Schwarzenegger makes a Terminator-related appearance.
Things to note: That dial you see on the right in the beginning is from the wheel house in Titanic. Also look for Cameron’s famous hat — which features the words HMFIC.
