Wanna get Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart on your bad side? Try messing with a state park!

The famous musician is speaking up in support of California Prop 21 — a ballot measure that would add an $18 surcharge to California vehicles, providing the owners with free, year round access to state parks.

The new fee would apply to about 28 million cars and raise close to $500 million a year in a dedicated fund for the state’s 278 parks.

“California’s state parks are the very soul of our state but are on the brink of disaster. State parks are our heritage and incredibly important to protect and safe-keep for future generations.” says Hart.

Check out Hart’s homemade video below to learn why he supports Prop 21. We’re not gonna lie, the video is a little creepy, but we support his activism!

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
