Catskill Animal Sanctuary is looking to make a documentary, and they want your help!

The organization is using Kickstarter.com to raise funds for the proposed film, which will, “highlight the spirit and energy of the people who run the Sanctuary, feature its Director and Founder Kathy Stevens during an actual animal rescue operation, and share the stories of some of the animals that call CAS their home.”

Catskill Animal Sanctuary is located in upstate New York and provides a safe and loving haven for abused horses and farm animals. Since 2001, they’ve been working to rescue animals and raise public awareness of agribusiness’ impact on the world.

On Kickstarter, individuals can donate funds to the project while receiving a series of exclusive experiences, ranging from “supporter” credits in the film to a private NYC screening.
