If you’re a regular Ecorazzi reader, you may recall Season 1 of Live a Damn Radio — a project created by yours truly to spotlight the many world-changers who are raising the bar on social consciousness and taking meaningful action to create change.

During the first season, I welcomed a series of celebrities, business leaders, and everyday citizens who are going above and beyond to make the world a better place.

In preparation for Season 2, this morning I launched a special Live a Damn holiday campaign geared towards helping people give back.

During the month of December, Live a Damn will feature a different non-profit organization (NPO) each day in a segment called “Get to Know an NPO.” By the end of the year, you’ll be familiar with 31 different organizations and have 31 new ways to give back.

Today, Live a Damn readers are “getting to know” DonorsChoose –an online charity that makes it easy  to help students in need by providing a platform for public school teachers to post classroom projects online that individuals can help finance. By providing members with a variety of funding options, a high level of transparency, and interactive feedback, DonorsChoose makes the giving process super accessible and delightfully fulfilling.

Jump over to LiveADamn.com to find out more about the holiday campaign and to “get to know” DonorsChoose.
