FOX News anchor Neil Cavuto recently invited Fabio Lanzoni on to discuss his bit starring role in that Plug In America PSA we recently saw — but things off the bat quickly took a turn for the dumb.

How dumb? I kid you not — Cavuto, embracing the role of a snide, ignorant bully, spent half the time trying to convince Fabio that there’s no way he could fit inside a Tesla electric roadster. It became such a constant question, that its a wonder Lanzoni was able to express his love for the technology at all. FOX even went so far as to throw a graphic up showing an oversized Fabio inside the Volt and Tesla. I mean, WTF, is their new angle attempting to convince viewers that tall people cannot fit in these vehicles?

Fabio, ever gracious in the face of such stupidity, told an incredulous Cavuto that there is video on Youtube of him driving the Tesla quite comfortably. Cavuto for his part, ended the segment calling plug in vehicles a “dumb idea”.

Check out the full interview here — or watch Fabio discuss his new found love of the Tesla and electric cars in general after the jump below.

Haha ! I just love it to see these dumb asses come up with the thinest of “arguments” against things that are so obvious the future like green electric cars. Maybe twenty years ago you would be a freak defending electric plug in cars, now its like, you are a DINOSAUR if you stick to the gasoline guzzlers.

  • crumpets are yummy

So many people are willing to sell their souls to big oil…yes they are dumbasses, they don’t think things through properly, they have zero vision…the guy probably has shares in big polluting industries.
