When it comes to having the most pull on Twitter, Scott Harrison’s charity: water rules the roost over any other non-profit in the U.S.

The org’s more than 1.3 million followers best others like Room To Read (2nd nationally with 457,000), the ONE campaign (452,000), and even The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the biggest U.S. foundation (430,000).

Harrison has done a masterful job of leveraging his high-profile celebrity supporters (ie; Will Smith, Adrian Grenier) to raise followers and funds. $12m-$13M has been rolled this year alone for clean water initiatives in 17 countries, including Cambodia, Ethiopia, India and Honduras.
