Do you want to own an electric car but worry the battery won’t be able to handle your heavy driving? Chevy Volt has solved your problem, and television host and car aficionado Jay Leno is impressed!

Although Leno spoke poorly of the Volt in the past, calling it “a people mover, not a people impresser,” it looks as though his tune has changed. In fact, he was one of the first in line to get the new eco car when it came out earlier this month.

“Electricity is like sex. People lie about it. You never get quite as far in an electric car as you say you will. So this electricity when you need it and gas when you really want it,” he said.

Jay is, of course, referring to the fact that the Volt is powered mainly by electricity, but also has a gas-powered onboard generator that allows 375 miles of total driving. I had the chance to test drive a Chevy Volt earlier this year, and let me tell you: this is one cool car!

Check out the video below to watch Jay pick up his very first Chevy Volt. We’re totally jealous.

Okja: Worth Watching, but Not For the Reasons You Think

Watch Okja, but don’t expect it to do your vegan advocacy on your behalf, because if you do you’ll likely be disappointed.

Hampton Creek races to be the first to sell lab meat

I certainly hope that Hampton Creek doesn’t label their petri-dish concoction “just meat,” because there’s nothing just about it.

Why fight climate change when you can create heat-resistant cows?

We don’t need heat-resistant animals, we need veganism.
