I have an iPad. I love it. But the case I currently have is fairly terrible.

Someone over at US+U must have thought most of them suck too because they’ve some up with a very innovative solution. From the site:

Ever thought, man I’d like the freedom to hold my iPad™ with one hand and have the ability to rotate it in any direction? We thought the exact same thing. We looked and didn’t find a case giving us that ability. That’s when we started sketching and designing to solve the problem. Thus the Swivel Pro™ was born.

Ok, so a catcher’s mitt-style iPad case may not be for everyone, but I like that this thing is multi-handy. Not only does it swivel 360 degrees, but there’s also a kickstand, pockets for various swag, and screen protection panels. Readers of this site will also be happy to know that it’s made from faux leather.

Even better? 3% of all sales benefit a charity you choose from a drop-down list. These include charity: water, ASPCA, Compassion International, Hire Heroes USA, and Smile Train. Great gesture, right?

As for the price, it’s steep at $70 — but it’s a damn near perfect case for your iPad and a hell of a lot better than the $40 Apple standard.

Check it out over at US+U.
