Natalie Portman walked away with a Best Actress award at last night’s Golden Globes — but all eyes were on the baby bump hiding under the beautiful Viktor & Rolf gown she chose.

The 29-year-old vegan recently announced she’s pregnant and engaged to “Black Swan” co-star Benjamin Millepied. Besides her pale pink Viktor and Rolf dress highlighted with a red rose, Portman also carried a Dior clutch and animal-friendly Stella McCartney heels.

Check out her semi-awkward acceptance speech after the jump below!

Her dress is made by two ethic-less designers who use and promote fur in their designs (just google..) , and Dior is in the “no” section of cruelty free shopping lists, because Dior tests on animals.

So much of the ethics of our vegan hero girl Natalie Portman.

“Vegan” Silverstone nibbling cheese and taking low shots at vegans.
Vegan Portman who doesnt mind promoting prominent animal cruel companies like Dior and fur designers.

We need new vegan heroes !!!! Anybody else feels the same ?

I think its important to focus on the fact that regardless of designer, she’s making vegan choices. It’s not like she’s wearing dior makeup or fur, if anything her choices are signaling these designers that veganism is becoming more mainstream and they should expand their vegan offerings.
