Paul McCartney Turned On By Vegan Food

Paul McCartney is asking his fans to “turn us on with your ideas”!

But really he is.

The former Beatles member posted a video on his website asking fans to submit their very best recipes for a chance to be added to the Linda McCartney line of vegetarian foods, created by his late wife.

The winner is asked to get creative in the kitchen and turn out a killer product, the end result being that if you win your recipe will be turned into one of their offerings, and a photo of your face will go along with every pack sold (seriously). In addition, though in comparison this is less exciting, you’ll receive a brand new Baumtic cooker and a hand-made kitchen table by Tichmarch & Goodwin!

Think you have what it takes to impress this celeb vegan? Then all you have to do to enter is send in your dish by filling out an online form (which can also include photos), and then every week favorites will be selected and voted on by judges (a la American Idol). Then 3 finalists will be selected, and come January will go through another round of judging as the recipes are cooked and served on live TV by the lucky 3.

You can also check out the video below, though admittedly it is odd to see McCartney standing in a kitchen rather than say, oh, on a stage or something like that.
