What would happen if a network decided to record a celebrity telethon benefit for a natural disaster before the actual disaster happens? That was the plotline of this Thursday’s hilarious “30 Rock” episode; with a special guest appearance by Robert De Niro.

Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) notices that the highest-rated television events of the last five years have been disaster telethons. Unfortunately, they’re generally a wash because all the other networks have their own telethons. However, if NBC can be first out of the gate with a pre-recorded celebrity fundraiser for “that thing that happened to those people”, everyone wins.

Check out De Niro after the jump below listing all of the possible natural disasters that could befall mankind. Beware the birdpocalypse!
