What would happen if a network decided to record a celebrity telethon benefit for a natural disaster before the actual disaster happens? That was the plotline of this Thursday’s hilarious “30 Rock” episode; with a special guest appearance by Robert De Niro.

Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) notices that the highest-rated television events of the last five years have been disaster telethons.
