We told you about Steven Spielberg‘s latest project, a TV series called Terra Nova, which centers around the Shannon family from the year 2149. And during the Super Bowl we got our first sneak peek at a trailer for the series.

The Shannon family lives in an overcrowded and overpopulated future where most of the plant and animal life has gone extinct (sound a little too real?). As there is no feasible way to reverse the damage to the planet caused by humans, a team of scientists open a space-time continuum portal that allows the family to travel 150 million years into the past.

What they find is Terra Nova, a world with blue skies, bountiful vegetation, and a new beginning for the travelers. But not all is as it seems, for the family is soon to find that something sinister awaits them.

Terra Nova is set to air on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24 (a two-parter) at 9 p.m. on Fox. Check out the trailer here!

Pretending it’s better to live and be killed than it is to not live at all is just a selfish, ignorant excuse to continue using animals.

Anything less than advocating an end to all animal use sells these chickens and other animals out.
