If you didn’t catch Kathy Freston‘s interview on Good Morning America then not to fret, we’ve got you covered!

Freston is fast becoming a force in the vegan world. Her most recent book, Veganist, was featured as part of Oprah‘s “Vegan Challenge” special, and it has inspired other celebs like Bono to look into making the veg change.

Part of Freston’s philosophy is that in order to successfully make the vegan change you need to do it gradually and “lean into it,” as the author says.

In the interview Freston discusses how to ease into veganism, what foods you can still enjoy as a vegan, and the health benefits you will undoubtedly reap when you give in to a diet sans the animal cruelty.
