This is probably the cutest way to jump start your weekend! This adorable video of polar bear cubs emerging from hibernation to explore the snow outside is so sweet and fun you just might explode (seriously).

Polar bear mothers consume massive amounts of food to almost double their body weight in preparation for hibernation, when they retreat to a dark cave for three to four months. While in hibernation, polar bear mothers give birth to their cubs, which are born blind and deaf (fun fact!). It can take several weeks for the cubs to develop the basic functions of seeing, smelling, hearing and walking, and until that point they are very vulnerable and must rely on their mother. Once the baby bears reach a whopping 25 pounds, the bear mom will break the den in order to allow her cubs to explore the fresh snow outside their cave.

The below video comes from BBC Earth and their efforts to film animals as they should be: flourishing in the wild. We hope you enjoy! This is seriously so cute!
