We’ve had the pleasure of interviewing actor Esai Morales several times here on the razz, and each time have come away impressed with not only his dedication to the environment and good health, but also his interest in talking about these topics. When you spy him on the red carpet, you’re guaranteed his full attention, which is a rare occurrence in Hollywood.

The “Caprica” and “Jericho” star recently chatted with Ken Spector, who hit this week’s Global Green Pre-Oscar Party on behalf of LivingEco and Ecorazzi.

Among other things, Morales pleads with Scientology to stop sending him junk mail (an industry that wastes 100 million trees a year), as well as encouraging people to “eat the diet that Adam and Eve were designed to eat.”

Check out the interview after the jump below!

I loved everything he said here. And can I say that I can’t believe that he’s still a total hottie (maybe even better looking as he approaches 50). Great man inside and out.
