During an appearance last week on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, infamous former Baywatch beauty and staunch PETA activist Pamela Anderson let all the viewers know how she feels about non-veggies.

Anderson claimed she had to check with the courthouse the night before her appearance on the show to make sure she wasn’t needed for jury duty, adding “I don’t think I’d be a very good juror. You know, if you’re not vegetarian—guilty!”

Ellen DeGeneres, a vegan herself, found this rather amusing, and congratulated Pam on all the effort she’s put into animal right’s campaigns over the years.

Anderson had recently visited New Orleans and adopted 50 dogs and 30 cats from the area, finding them all new homes within 24 hours.

Meating adjourned!

A lot of people don’t take Pam Anderson seriously, but she really is brilliant. Its amazing that she was able to do something in 24 hours that most shelters can’t do in weeks. And I love her quip about meat-eaters. It really is amusing.

she is witty and her standing up for animals is long lasting and the real thing. respect.

I admire Pamela Anderson. She takes on a very serious topic (animal rights), but because she’s a bombshell that most people don’t take too seriously, she can get away with speaking the truth in a far more straightforward way than others could get away with. Pamela, thank you for all you do for the animals!

Wow! I never knew Pammy was like that. Thats my opinion of her well and truely reversed! :)

  • Happy-Vegan

She is nothing, but a liar! She is not a vegetarian nor even close to being a vegan. She eats fish and chicken and the occasional burger! She admitted this herself in an interview on television! What a crock she is.

If she is going to preach, she needs to stop eating animals! She is a hypocrite. I am a vegan (strict) and there is no way I would ever take a life simply for my appetite. It is wrong.
